Avgas's '97 New Construction Shovel
Suzy Q is a 1997 new construction with a Paughco frame and an 88 c.i. engine. The frame is a 2-¼ stretch with a 10-degree rake. The engine is mostly S & S but with STD cases & STD dual plug heads. The lifters are hydraulic. There is an alternator installed. Suzy Q sports a suicide clutch & a jockey shift. The ignition is Power Arc with a Weird Newfire distributor. The wheels are Performance Machine with twisted spokes. The rear is 16 by 6 with a 200 tire. Brakes are also PM. The engine and tranny are offset by ¾ of an inch to make the whole thing work. And it does work well. Suzy Q goes, just as good as she looks.
