Joe's '48 Panhead
My slightly modified '48 pan, as is plain to see
there's not much stock about it.
I built it last year, it started as a
basket with '48 EL cases that were trashed.
I went to Delkron cases, S&S barrels and S.T.D. heads. After that I
figured it would be a shame not to go all the way, S&S oil pump, S&S
lowers, Andrews gears in the tranny
Wiseco pistons. I lowered the swing-arm, put an adjustable wide glide up
front, billet brakes all around and a solid rear wheel. I'm building
another pan right now, hopefully
nicer than this one.
