Ward's Knuckle/Shovel
1946 knuckle/shovel. Lower cases are '46 knuckle. Upper jugs and heads are
early '70s shovelhead bored .030" over. The frame is a 1946 rigid frame
with a wide glide front end. Rear tire is a 140/16 and the front is a stock
width by 21 inches. The tanks are fat bobs (5 gallons) with a police
special speedometer (but it doesn't work). I just know the bike moves when
I need it to. The signals are manual (ie, I have to signal, even in the
dark when no-one can see me). Starter? What starter? I'm the starter.
Saddlebags are from the days of the pony express and were taken off a horse
that didn't make it. (No, not really...). But they are as old as the bike.
By the way, the bike is for sale ($13,700 CDN).
